DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN
8 Days Tour Casablanca desert Route : Pick up at the airport or riad , depending on what you want. We start the visit by visiting the largest city in Morocco, Casablanca. A modern city that maintains the city walls and its ramparts in its souks and alleys. Here is the most emblematic and the interest of this city to visit places such as the Great Mosque of Hassan II, the Anfa district , the Park of Nations, the Boulevard de la Corniche …
Once in Casablanca, we will go to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of Oudaya (XIII), the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower. Continue toward Chefchaouen.
At the end of the day, we will take you to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – MEKNES – FES:
After a good breakfast at the Riad, we go to Fes, stopping Roman ruins ( Volubilis ), a World Heritage Site, among others. Lunch in Meknes and continue on the road to Fes.
Once we are in Fes, we will arrive at the accommodation, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 3: FES – FES:
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to visiting Fes. This beautiful city is divided into three areas: Fes el Bali, the old part. Fez el Jdid , the new city and new, the French side. People who visit this city are completely fascinated by one of the largest medieval sites of endless streets. There are many things to visit here: the Mellah , the Jewish quarter, the place of the dyers, Fes el Bali, the medieval medina of the city, Fez el Jedid , the new medina of Fez, the Andalusian mosque and many other sites.
At the end of the day, we will go to the Riad where you will have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA:
In the morning after breakfast, we will continue the excursion to the Merzouga desert making stops at different sites. At this point, the road has entered the Middle Atlas. A charming and totally different from the rest of Morocco, called Ifrane people . It has a colder climate than the rest and a slightly different European architecture. Then we head to Arzou , where there are many extinct volcanoes, such as Jebel Hebri 2104 meters, among others. We will visit the oldest forest in this country full of cedars and very nice monkeys, with the possibility of feeding them. The town is characterized by having a large artisan industry and then we will take a tour of the sites.
We will continue towards Midelt , located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, we will stop for lunch and continue towards the Ziz Valley , to admire the immensity of the red gorges, the cover of large oases and beautiful villages and adobe Kasbahs . Later in the afternoon we will arrive in Merzouga, where you will leave your belongings at our hostel and take what you need to spend the night in the tent.
Depending on our arrival time, we will have tea and leave the house while we equip the camels. Once everything is ready, you will begin your great adventure in Erg Chebbi for these large animals. After an hour and a half, we arrive at the camp after enjoying the wonderful colors of the day, arriving at sunset to contemplate. You will then have a typical Moroccan dinner and an evening of live music with drums and a campfire to join us under the immensity of the starry sky.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE:
The next morning, return to the riad and you will have the opportunity to take a shower. We will go to a town called Khamlia , where sub-Saharans have created their village, one of the largest tribes is Bambara , music plays a very important role and we can enjoy live music. We will continue traveling to Rissani , and we will stop to see a large market that brings together many merchants, where there are many things such as crafts, carpets, animals, food…
After lunch, we will visit the Draa Valley where we can admire the surrounding nature, we will stop to take photos and remember these beautiful places. We will arrive in Ouarzazate where we will arrive at the accommodation, dinner and rest.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH:
After breakfast, we will go to the Kasbah of Taourirt , a World Heritage Site, full of towers and walls. Within the Islamic and Jewish religions are mixed. Aphrodite Worldwide , a world-famous site in the city of Ait Ben Haddou , a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
The next stop is the Kasbah of Telouet , which is located in the village of Telouet and was used to pass through the High Atlas to Marrakech. It is a clearly deteriorated, but with a special charm Kasbah . On the way we will pass along the High Atlas, making several stops enjoying the magnificent landscape to take pictures and breathe the fresh air that this place offers.
We will arrive in Marrakech and head to the accommodation where you can relax, have dinner and sleep.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH – MARRAKECH:
After a big breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit it alone or if you wish with a local guide. What to say about this great city, a city full of life. There are great and interesting things to visit such as:
Souks: with narrow streets, full of smells, sensations… leather souks, metal… Jamaa el Fna Square : during the day you will find juice stalls, nuts… and in Niis full of food stalls where you can enjoy typical Moroccan food.
Koutoubia Mosque : This is the most important mosque in this city, but access is not allowed to non-practitioners of Islam.
Bahia Palace: The palace building and this was made in more than a decade, and its interior is full of majestically decorated rooms. A must see. These and many other things to visit in Marrakech. Dinner and sleep at the place of accommodation
DAY 8: MARRAKECH – AIRPORT: The end of 8 Days Tour Casablanca desert Route.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and end of the excursion. Final tour: 8 Days Casablanca Marrakech Route
