Day 1: Marrakech Airport – Marrakech

Upon arrival, we will meet you at the airport or any location in Marrakech, and transfer you to the riad. You can choose to visit the famous Jamaa El Fna Square, where you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere, enjoying delicious street food, storytellers, music, dances and games. Overnight stay in a charming riad in the heart of the medina.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges

After breakfast, we begin our journey to the desert. Our route takes us from Marrakech through the Tichka Pass, where we will stop to admire the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. We will continue our drive to Ouarzazate to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and have lunch. If you wish, you can also visit the film studios where many Hollywood films have been shot. From there, we will head to Skoura, a village nestled in the heart of the Valley of Palms. You can take a leisurely stroll through its vast oasis, discover hidden kasbahs and explore its own kasbah. Our journey continues through the Valley of Roses, known for its rose cultivation, and to the Dades Gorges, where we will spend the night. Dinner and overnight in a hotel on the banks of the Dades River.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast, we continue along the banks of the Boulmane River, where a road lined with kasbahs and ksours (fortified villages) awaits us, surrounded by ochre, red and purple landscapes. Along the way, you will see rocky plateaus dotted with grazing camels. After passing through more ksours, oases and palm groves, we will arrive at Tineghir, home to the magnificent Todra Gorge, perched at an altitude of 1,350 metres in the middle of a palm grove.

Enjoy some free time to explore the gorge before continuing to Erfoud, known for its fossils, and passing through Rissani, the first imperial city, where you can discover its bustling market filled with nomads selling livestock and goods. Finally, we will reach Merzouga, in front of the imposing dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a welcome tea at the hotel, you can choose to take a quad or buggy excursion, or relax before our camel trek into the desert. We will cross the dunes to a desert camp where we will spend the night. Dinner and festive evening with drums around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Draa Valley – Marrakech

We highly recommend getting up early to witness one of the most incredible sunrises from the imposing dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, we will return to the hotel by camel. The rest of the day will be spent returning to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Along the way, we will stop to admire the adobe kasbahs, traditional Berber villages and the stunning geological formations of the valley. We will cross the Grand Atlas Mountains again, admiring their beauty before arriving in Marrakech around 8pm. Transfer to your hotel in Marrakech.

Day 5: Marrakech – Marrakech Airport

After breakfast, we will start a guided tour of Marrakech, starting with the Koutoubia Minaret (12th century), an architectural jewel and the spiritual center of the city. Then, we will visit the Saadian Tombs (16th century), with its impressive central dome in Carrara marble. We will then discover the Bahia Palace (16th century), a perfect example of Moroccan medieval aristocracy, with its remarkable cedar wood ceiling in the Ambassadors’ Hall.
