4 days route tour Fes Merzouga
DAY 1: FES – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDELT – ER-RACHIDIA – ERFOUD – ERG CHEBBI
On our first day of the 4 days Fes Merzouga Tour, departure from Fes to Merzouga, to cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and Azrou . We will stop at the Cedar Forest where you can see monkeys. Then we continue south through several towns and see nomads living in tents on our way.
At our next stop you can enjoy your lunch. Then we pass through Tizi N’Talghomt as we enjoy the road through the views and Ziz Gorge and tunnel. Before reaching Errachidia . on the way to Erfoud , you will have a stop for a view of Aoufous , then the palm grove along the Ziz River . Arrival in Merzouga to reach the hotel at the foot of the dunes.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: 4×4 TOUR IN ERG CHEBBI DUNES
The next day, we take an excursion to explore the small villages, around the dunes of Erg Chebbi like Hassi Labied , Merzouga and Khamlia .
In Hassi Labied , we will stop at the garden where we can see a beautiful irrigation canal. From there, we continue our route to Merzouga.
Near Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to see Salt Lake Day and Shri , which attracts attention with its flamingos, blue waters and wildlife that appreciate this peaceful and natural area.
Khamlia is famous for its villagers. Away from Khamlia we stop for a picnic in the shade of the trees before continuing with a nomadic family, who takes care of the herds of goats and camels, to learn about their way of life.
After that, you will have the opportunity to visit the volcanic rock sites. In the evening, we will experience a sunset in the dunes. Later in the evening, we will have dinner under the stars, listen to local music, dance around the campfire and stay there.
DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – ERFOUD – TINEJDAD – TINEGHIR – TODRA GORGES
The next morning we will return to your hotel where you can take a hot shower and prepare for the new journey. We will start with RISSANI, and visit Zawiya Moulay Ali ash-Sharif . On the way
Tinjdad passing by Erfoud (The capital of marble fossil).
The next stop is in Tinejdad , where we will have a delicious meal for lunch. After that, we have the opportunity to stop for a breathtaking
view general in the river.
DAY 4: TODRA GORGES IN FES the en of your 4 days route tour Fes Merzouga.
We will return to different places in Midelt , visit the Berber landscapes and villages through the Atlas Mountains, stop for lunch on our way. Then continue to your hotel.
