DAY 1: MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE
Mhamid Route begins . Departure from Marrakech to Ourzazarte through the High Atlas Mountains along the Tizi N’Tichka , the highest pass in North Africa at 2,260 meters above sea level. Stop in a small village along the way for lunch, then continue to Ouarzazate , it is the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Head to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA – M’HAMID
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for a day trip to Zagora , a town in the Draa Valley . For centuries, this valley served as a link between the Sahara and northern Morocco for caravan routes passing near the river. Return and admire the view from the road through beautiful small Moroccan towns and Berber villages along the river, including Agdz and Zagora . Arriving in M’hamid in the evening, enjoy a 4×4 trip to a Berber camp. Go for a camel ride at sunset and before dinner, stay in traditional tents for a true desert experience. DAY 3: M’HMID – ZAGORA – MARRAKECH: The end of 3 days Tour MARRAKECH to MHAMID
Wake up early to head to the giant dunes of Erg Lihoudi to admire the sunrise over the Sahara Desert. Located near the desert oasis town of M’hamid , the 100-meter-long dunes of Erg Lihoudi are incredible, especially at sunrise. After your visit to the sand dunes and breakfast, it’s time to head back to Marrakech via the Draa Valley . Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch, some free time and a guided tour of the film studios, before returning to your hotel in Marrakech around 8pm.
