2 day route tour Fes Merzouga
DAY 1: FEZ – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDLET – ARFOUD – MERZOUGA
You will start the 2 days Fes Merzouga route tour, via Azrou and Errachidia . Your first stop will be in Ifran , and then on to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley . During this trip, you will see the Middle Atlas and Upper Atlas mountains, stopping at the famous cedar forest. You will notice how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Er Rachidia . After lunch, your journey continues along the lush Ziz Valley , stopping to enjoy panoramic views along the way. We will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Rissani . Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you check into your hotel.
After relaxing a few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a camp equipped with drum music in the middle of the Sahara, we will go to a high dune to watch the sunset, we will spend the night in nomadic tents.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA – ERRACHIDIA – ZIZ VALLEY – FES end of your 2 day route tour Fes Merzouga.
Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Afterwards you will return to the village of Merzouga, on the way you will not be able to miss appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes , which change with the light. as the day progresses. After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for Fes via Errachidia and the Ziz Valley ending in Fes.
